Don't Ask Me Why...

I did it. It was on a random whim. There was no forethought to it whatsoever. I signed up for the dating site again! I'm already regretting it. I don't know why I'm sitting in remorse over it either. I'm not sure if I should be proactive or sit on my bum about the whole thing. Perhaps I should have taken that hundred bucks for a measly six-month subscription to love and spent the night shakin' my booty at a club. Mr. Right just might be a rump-shaker...Not! I sure hope my MR isn't a bar-scene kinda dude. Beer guzzling and butt gawking aren't exactly on the checklist for my McDreamy. I wonder if they have any of that weird speed dating stuff around here. I'm interested to try it out. I have complete and profound doubts about it, but at this point I may as well start collecting the rest of my dating memoirs, tearful woes, and silly stories for the book that seems to be well on it's way to creation. Even the stuff in Cosmo doesn't give me the same gag or giggle that my own formerly boring life does. (P.S. 9 more days 'til I'm 24!)

Well... if they have speed dating in my city there certainly is one around you! ;)

I wish you the best of luck with your dating this time! *hugs*

You know, I know you love stamping and crafting, and you love your little doggie, but what else do you love to do? I think the best advice for someone looking to meet people to date is to pick up some hobbies. Don't just do something so you can say you do it, but pick things you enjoy. I think active activities, of course, are a good way to meet guys, but are there good places to go sit and drink a cup of coffee, or good book stores, or places to go wall-climbing, , or a club sport you could join, or other fun stuff where you would bump into someone who obviously shares at least one interest with you (the one that brought you to the same place)? Perhaps you've tried this, but I think it's worth trying again if you have. There's nothing like meeting people in person so that you can have that first impression. Anyway, just my two-cents, take it with a grain of salt ;) Take care and keep us posted.

Hey, keep your hopes up, OK? My (now) hubby came along when I was already 25, so see you're doing good! And it is definitely better to be alone than with the wrong person... But I don't blame you for trying, I actually totally understand. I hope you find Mr Right at an unexpected turn...who knows, maybe at that new rock climbing place?....
