Day 35: Copics

I ordered some Copics a week or so ago, and they've finally made it here. I've already started sketching and doodling. My head is overflowing with ideas. I forgot to get a 6" ruler, some sketch paper and a gum eraser though. I'll just improvise until I can get my family to send the rest of my sketch materials.

Ooohhh...look at you!!! That's awesome that you're sketching - you'll have all kinds of ideas to make! I have been wanting to get Copics, but with the price and the fact that there are SO MANY styles and colors, I don't even know where to start...You'll have to share which ones you got and what your impression of is of them after getting to use them. Thinking of you!!!

Woo hoo, so cool that you could have them delivered to you! :) I really look forward to seeing your drawings.

One of my New Year Resolutions was to make at least one drawing a day, and I created a new blog for sharing them, since they're really crappy :p Anyway, here's the address: http://365drawings.wordpress.com/

Hugs!

Hi Laura! I just discovered your blog, today. I also just looked at your gallery. You are one VERY talented cardmaker / papercrafter. Anyway, I'm also crazy for COPIC markers; and I love to rubber stamp, also. I just wanted to stop by and introduce myself and let you know that I am very thankful for your service to your country. I am a military spouse also (husband is in the Air Force.... active duty, now, for 15 years). He is stationed at STRATCOM at Offutt AFB, Nebraska. God Bless. Stay safe! I look forward to reading more about your deployment. I hope you'll find some time to share the artwork you create while you're on deployment. God Bless,

Love your doodles, especially the bows and criss-crosses. Can't wait to see them colored in a card design. Have fun with your Copics; I've never tried them.

I too was introduced to your blog through Ethel. You do wonderful work. I don't own any copics, but I know how much my friends love them. I'm sure you'll create beautiful art with it. I look forward to seeing it. My DH is retired military and as a spouse I know how difficult it can be to be away from family. Thank you for your service.

Enjoy your Copics - I love mine. You may want to check out Gina K's blog entry for today. She's giving away a set of Copics as blog candy for giving our opinions on Copics.

I just stumbled upon your blog and will make it a favorite. Thanks for all that you are doing for our freedom and be safe.
