Day 171: Last Day

Well, today is my last day of being 24. I feel super duper strange turning 25 for some reason. I seems quietly momentus to me. Maybe I'll celebrate with a pizza or a nice nap. P.S. Happy birthday to Camryn and Brian!!! I love you guys!!!

Oh, honey, celebrate. Take pictures. Hug a friend. Kiss a close friend. Let everyone know it is your birthday and be happy. Go get pizza/ice cream, sing a song, and be the life of the camp. I hope your package gets to you in time. Forget yesterday and things you cannot change and live for today. It's your birthday and you are loved.

Laura,
25 years ago, the most wonderful thing happened. I met you and you filled my life with such joy. I knew it would never be the same. To say I love you with all my heart does not even begin to describe my emotions. I look at you with such pride and ask God what did I ever do to deserve such a gift.
I love you. I am proud of you. You are my little girl. You are my soldier and the protector of my freedom.
Thank you for 25 years of memories. I would not trade it for the world.

I love you,
Dad

Happy early birthday!! I've been lurking on your blog and i wanted to let you know that I miss you tons! I found an old choir score from high school, when we sang together at a Christmas show. It made me want to jump on the internet and see how you were doing....know that even though we don't get to talk hardly ever, I am SUPER proud of you!!!!

Happy Birthday!! I am sorry you have to spend it over there. Thank-you for your service. My son will probably deploy in Nov. I pray for the soldiers every day.

How many spectacular parties have we had together...under the rainbow, little mermaid, the every popular Mcdonalds, Mr. Gattis, and of course the evening out at Old San Francisco Steakhouse. You and your friends always had a party on the third week end in May. Since your enlistment, I had not gotten to enjoy your birthdays as much. I hate distance so very much. Like your Dad I remember your birthday very well. LONG LONG LONG labor (you wanted to make an entrance) then at just a few minutes before six in the morning you decided to be presented. There was a team there, as you also decided to be a little distressed, but within a few minutes you perked up and haven't stopped singing since. Love ya kiddo....

I know it is a little late to post a Happy Birthday on your blog, but I was just catching up on what I had missed over the last month or so since I checked it out. I hope you received my letter. You are not forgotten and will always be in my heart.
