Mother's Day

is tomorrow, so for the occasion I thought I'd share with you some beautiful, funny, and strange motherhood quotes:

If you have a mom,
there is nowhere you are likely to go
where a prayer has not already been.

You don't really understand human nature
unless you know why a child on a merry-go-round
will wave at his parents every time around
 - and why his parents will always wave back.

It kills you to see them grow up.
But I guess it would kill you quicker if they didn't.

The one thing children wear out faster than shoes is parents.

Mothers are fonder than fathers of their children
because they are more certain they are their own. ~Aristotle

Making the decision to have a child is momentous.
It is to decide forever to have your heart
go walking around outside your body.

There is only one pretty child in the world,
and every mother has it.

If nature had arranged that husbands
and wives should have children alternatively,
there would never be more than three in a family.

The moment a child is born,
the mother is also born.
She never existed before.
The woman existed,
but the mother, never.
A mother is something absolutely new.

Ethan was born just five days shy of 9 months ago making me a mother...

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mothers Day! Love these quotes especially the one about wearing out parents faster then shoes. Lol.

Such a precious picture! I was just looking at pictures last night of the first time I held my daughter Madalyn who was 8 weeks early. She was 8 days old before I help her for the first time. Almost made me cry last night. It was such a good moment!

Happy mother's Day.
My favorite mother-quote: of all the rights of women, the greatest is to be a mother.

Happy Mother's Day to the 9 month minus 5 days Mom, but maybe we should count the nine months of carrying him before he was born!!!
