I was so honored to be the designer of the month for CARDS Magazine this past month! When the editor asked to feature me in the spot back in March I was just giddy, and here I am just as excited nearly a year later. This really has been a whirlwind of a year. With my hubs deploying last January, I decided that my new years resolution was to focus on a few of the things I love (along with loosing weight as usual). One of the main things on my list was to be consistent with submitting for publications. I'd say I was pretty successful with meeting my resolution (at least this one). I have been published at least once a month during his deployment, but more often than not three to five times, and finally this month I hit my record of eight. I guess that really does represent the culmination of my year without him. I'm ready for him to come home and resume husband and daddy duties. I think it might be time for a little break here in the near future. Our family needs it, and I'm ready to take it on 100%. I hope you'll stick around, but in the mean time here are my publication releases from last month...

I think you did awesome on your resolutions! :)
you must be so excited to see Vince back :) And I thought that DF's new work was hard (he's 7 days out of the city and then 7 days here), and it's nothing compared to what you guys have gone through!
enjoy your time with Vince, and don't worry about blogland, we'll be here waiting for you when you're ready again ;)
Each one is more beautiful then the next -- Great Job!
Wow, all of your cards are just beautiful, I couldn't pick a favorite. Gorgeous work!
Now that's a great resolution to accomplish! Great job. The cards are as amazing as usual! Hope to hear that your hubby is home soon with you and your sweet Evan.
